Text 23 Aug No Baggage Challenge, starting in London

I’ve always wanted to travel around the world, but at the same time, the thought of having to tug along a luggage is rather daunting — my friends can confirm that I tend not to take a bag with me even just for a day out. This is why I envy Rolf Potts, who’s just made his first stop for his round-the-world trip with no luggage.

Thanks to @justinglow (cameraman, and also Engadget’s web developer hero), I had the golden opportunity to show the duo around London during their four-hour layover. It certainly reminded me of the olden days rushing summer camp kids around the city, but somewhat less stressful — the two boys were on their best behaviour.

Rolf will be hitting 12 countries on five continents, so be sure to follow him on Twitter (@rtwnobag) to find out how he gets on. I’ll let you read the rest in Rolf’s latest blog post about his London visit (video included, naturally): http://www.rtwblog.com/2010/08/19-london-cliches-in-less-than-four-hours

Do excuse my messy hair — I’ve been meaning to get a haircut.
